May 2 IWSG Post – Does Spring Inspire you to Write?

I usually schedule my IWSG posts atleast a couple of days before. But as I completely forgot about the May 2nd IWSG post, it’s a last minute one. I think I’m still in April mode. The fifth IWSG of 2018 has knocked on our doors. IWSG (Insecure Writers Support Group) is an online community of writers, posting on the first Wednesday of the month. Our posts are about our writing-related issues and our writing experiences.Visit the IWSG website for the amazing posts.

Ninja Captain Alex J Cavanaugh (author of the Amazon Bestsellers: CassaStar, CassaStorm, CassaFire and Dragon of the Stars) had this wonderful idea of starting IWSG, where we writers can let off all our writing-related steam, in a holistic and healthy way, thereby getting rid of our fears and worries. Writers are so susceptible to anxiety and stress-related issues, that IWSG comes as a wonderful therapy.

I heard doctors all over the world are hunting for Alex, who has cheated them of many patients. Have no fear Alex, no one can touch you or harm you, we all are your bodyguards.

May 2 question - It’s spring! Does this season inspire you to write more than others, or not?

I don’t think Spring inspires me to write more than the other seasons. Nowadays I make it a point to write every day, inspite of the seasons, and irrespective of the time of the day and whether it is weekends or weekdays. Earlier, I would write till evening, reserving the late evenings and nights for reading, but nowadays I write throughout the day and even during the nights and weekends. I think I’m getting more disciplined and committed to writing in this phase of my life.

Looking forward to reading your posts.

P.S. Due to work pressure I’m just posting on IWSG days.
